Internationally-recognized Pakistani artist Naiza Khan is traveling to East Lansing this spring for the opening of her first solo museum exhibition in the United States. Khan works across varied media, including sculpture, painting, drawing, and video. Her exhibition Karachi Elegies opens February 23, 2013 in the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University.
Students participating in the Sense of Site Workshops will meet with visiting artist Naiza Khan for an artist’s talk and Q&A specifically focused on site and cross-media practices. Workshop participants will also attend Khan’s gallery talk at the Broad Art Museum on Monday, February 25.
